The High Crusade

The Ejjai Invasion strikes without warning at the height of the Fifth Spacer War. All of humanity–Spacer and lander–face the threat of extinction. Alien masterminds fling countless hordes of hi-tek invader fleets and armies against several hundred worlds on both sides of the border, and the doomsday clock is ticking. Once the invaders conquer so many human worlds, they will become unstoppable, and the grim numbers game grinds on.
