The Helpful Bumble Bee and the Traveling Dinosaur

ABOUT THE HELPFUL BUMBLE BEE The Helpful Bumble Bee, (which was originally called the Buckle Bee) is a charming story about a young lady who loses her cherished pink and gold ring in a garden of beautiful flowers. The Bumble Bee wants to help his friend find her ring and flies around to each of the colorful flowers in search of her ring. Mr. Edwards (Donnie's father) revealed his son had observed him digging a small garden when he moved into a retirement community years ago. He found a gold ring someone had lost there. Donnie creatively wrote this story based on that incident. ABOUT THE TRAVELING DINOSAUR The Traveling Dinosaur is about Donnie and his adventures on a huge glacier in Alaska where he discovers a frozen prehistoric animal. As the glacier melts, he sees that the animal is still alive after thousands of years. He befriends the Demetridon and guides him around the world to meet some 'modern day' animals. He is very creative as the dinosaur makes some very interesting comments regarding each particular animal he is introduced to. Discover how these two new friends, generations apart, have much in common besides having similar names - (DemetriDon and Donnie).
