About This Book

Dr. Mathew Collins is the sole survivor of a chemical attack on his unit in Afghanistan. He is left with unusual muscle strength and a Kevlar-like protection from weaponry harm. An Iranian solder, Kahlid Vermani, also survived the deadly trichothecene called the Helios Rain with the same physical enhancements. As Dr. Collins assumes his civilian role as a San Antonio plastic surgeon he becomes the focus of the Iran military via Vermani to learn if U.S. scientists have found the antidote (via Collins) to the deadly chemical which will be used against America in the next Jihad attack. Vermani's search for the correct Mathew Collins results in the death of two Middle East U.S. soldier returnees until he identifies his target as a noncombatant physician. A final confrontation involves the military, CIA, and Presidential Secret Service as Vermani and his accomplices take Dr. Collins' fiancée and her son Frankie hostage in exchange for Collins' medical records.
