Lady Clarissa Tregallen preferred the windswept wilds of Cornwall to the jam-packed ballrooms and noisy routs of the London ton, but as the future bride of the tediously respectable Duke of Mainwaring, Clarissa would soon bid her beloved coast farewell and enter Society.
