The Heart of the Matter

The heart belonging to Dr. Jacob Rothmann, MD, professor of anatomy and physiology at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, is filled with rage. He has yet to recover from being romantically spurned some three decades earlier by the beautiful Melissa Neithaus in favor of his irresponsible roommate, Marty Adkins. Carrying that anger for nearly thirty years blackened his heart beyond reproach.
