The Haunted House Mystery

The Bobbsy's are off on another adventure when Flossie wins a contest! She thinks up the best name for a renovated mansion and receives as a prize an exact miniature of the newly-named Gingerbread Manor—and a trip to Oklahoma City for the whole Bobbsey family.

But trouble starts as soon as they arrive. First, a man tries to steal the tiny replica from Flossie. Then, the Bobbsey's are shocked to hear that the house Flossie named may be haunted! The Bobbsey's are determined to investigate! A vist to the Oklahoma City zoo, from which a number of valuable animals have recently been stolen, provides a perplexing clue. Flossie spots the man who tried to steal the miniature house from her, but when questioned, he reveals an air-tight alibi. How can one man be in two places at the same time?

A string of clues lead the two sets of twins to the renovated mansion. Eerie, inhuman sounds are heard throughout the house. Where could they be coming from? Flossie is the one who holds the key to this mystery, and her surprising revelation unlocks the secret of Gingerbread Manor!
