The Harrowing Place

Kar, Zea and Ama embark on a remarkable adventure when the irrepressible Zea introduces an engineer called Sola into their little group. Sola has invented a machine that transports people, not simply to another world, but into another Reality altogether. Naturally, Zea is eager to test the machine, in the hopes of finding unlimited amounts of alien treasure. However, a problem arises when she doesn't return from her initial trip, and it's up to Kar and Ama to find out why. What they discover is truly horrifying. But, worse is to follow, because the Sali, belonging to Kar's race, decide to invade. Everything descends into chaos as our heroes scramble to find a solution to the ensuing madness. Kar suggests a plan of action, but it's risky in the extreme, with no surety of success. but what other choice is there for the beleaguered foursome?
