Someone had set up Skye Fargo, the Trailsman, to take the rap for the murder of Howard Kent. And Fargo's only clue was Kent's beautiful, red-haired widow, who pointed the law in his direction. But by the time Fargo managed to break out of jail, she had lit out along the Oregon Trail, leaving the Trailsman only one choice. With a bloodthirsty posse hot on his tracks, Fargo had to catch up with the two-timing widow and get her to confess that she'd lied. What Fargo didn't realize was that finding Mrs. Kent wasn't the hard part. The trouble started when he found out just what kind of a wildcat he had on his hands...
