It all began when a doctor's bag containing deadly bacteria cultures were stolen from his car only to be returned a few days later. What followed was a string of mysterious deaths from tetanus and influenza. Who stole the bag, who did the murders, and how they were committed Inspector Humphrey Bull, Inspector of Scotland Yard, C.I.D. Enter a gray little Welshman and Inspector Bull's landlord, Mr. Evan Pinkerton. In the past, Mr. Pinkerton has fumbled and stumbled along in his nervous manner and managed to assist the inspector to nab the culprit. Just when the inspector is ready to chuck the whole investigation and resign from the force, Mr. Pinkerton rises to the occasion to identify the murderer and save the life of the killer's next victim.
