The Gypsy from Cadiz

Lola Sarita, vibrant, voluptuous Gypsy from Cadiz, has one thought fixed firmly in her beautiful head -- against all odds she will survive.

Born in the filth and vigor of a Gypsy encampment, Lola is raised in a squalid taberna to watch her adored mother succumb to the cruel ravages of life as a dockside whore and to witness a ruthless landowner's massacre of her tribe.

A lovely child, Lola is rescued from starvation in the backstreets of Cadiz by an elderly banker and initiated into the elegant arts of courtesanship by the gorgeous horizontales of the Villa Mariposa.

Kidnapped and ravished into the seraglio of the Pasha of Tangiers, she completes her amorous education in the oriental arts of love and escapes the harem in dead of night.

Despite bringing Barcelona to its knees under the power of her abandoned fandango, she dreams of conquering Paris and reuniting with her first love, René Duvallier.

Even though Paris is not immediately enthralled with her charms, Lola attracts the attention of those who matter most: lusty men in high places.
