Nan Lambert will do anything to land a better situation for her mother and herself. So when the chance to become a Mail Order Bride appears, she grabs it. She will go west, get settled, and then send for her mother. On the train, a charming stranger enters her compartment. She discovers that he's her fiancé's cousin, checking her out, so to speak.
