About This Book

Crete, 1660. The Venetian-Turkish war ranges for years on the Greek island. In a rather isolated village the local lord summons all the proesti, the elders and most notable men. Among them is the doctor of the village who intends to reveal them a terrible secret: someone wants to destroy them all one by one. According to his opinion there have been many inexplicable deaths in their village the last months. He says with certainty that there is a serial killer among them. The man is so heinous that he also feeds on human blood. The others, of course, don’t believe him. But then the doctor says that he even knows very well who the murderer is and how he kills his victims. The others want more details about the issue and then the doctor is showing them an odd book under the title “De Draculis et altris daemoniis”!
