The Great Vanishing

It started out as a typical Saturday afternoon for Bill and his little girl; Carol Anne, but when they go home after spending a few hours together at the bagel-shop across town, they find an empty house. At first, they're none too concerned, until when day eventually turns to night and Bill's wife; Samantha, and two other children; Billy and Jenny, are missing and Bill can't seem to contact them. The next day, Bill and Carol Anne go out and soon it's like the whole town, and eventually the whole world, has vanished without a trace
