The Great Stampede

Jimmy James is a golden tabby cat. He lives with a happy family-mom, dad, and twins, aged four-in a big house with a garden out back. Jimmy loves the garden. He knows all the sunny spots, where he can lay down and warm himself! But there is something curious outside his backyard ... _ Far away, down the fence at the farm next door, there are big creatures who love to eat grass and wander around. The twins know these creatures are cows, but Jimmy wonders-what could they be? To find out, the brave tabby cat leaves the garden to investigate. He tries to talk to one of the big creatures, but she doesn't seem to notice him. Jimmy tries harder, but when he gets close to the cow, he realizes cows are big! Jimmy is afraid! He arches his back and hisses, and the cow isn't happy about it. The Great Stampede is Jimmy's story of courage and adventure. It's fun to meet new people-and new cows. Even if we're afraid at first, we might end up making a new friend!
