When Marvin the mouse returns to the toy department home he shares with his friends Fats and Raymond, he makes an unhappy discovery. The doll carriage was sold while Fats was napping in it! It's up to Marvin to rescue Fats —provided Fats is willing to be rescued!

Marvin the Magnificent doesn't despair. He puts his great detective brain to work and soon finds himself on the trail of the evil Dr. Simpson, known for his cruel experiments on mice. But just when it looks like Fats is about to be rescued, Marvin runs into a final snag. What if Fats likes it fine just where he is?
