About This Book

Five fisherman die when their chartered sport fishing boat explodes 5-miles out at sea near Ocean City; the Captain & crew go missing! Autopsies prove they were murdered.

The deceased are five highly important scientists working for an Eastern Shore pharmaceutical. The US Coast Guard and the FBI become involved; however, local Detective Bernie Rumgate is key in solving the case.

Once the missing Captain's body is found, the families, of now six families, seek a wrongful death suit to complicate matters.

This new Novel’s title does not refer to a banking institution. The Great Gull Bank is a shelf on the Atlantic Ocean’s floor, dropping to deeper depths. A smaller shelf called the Little Gull Bank begins about 2-1/3 nautical miles southeast of Maryland’s Ocean City inlet. That is where the ocean’s depths drop to an average of 45-feet deep. About 2-1/2 nautical miles beyond there is where the Great Gull Bank is located. The depths there are from 55 to 65-feet deep.

Depending on the time of year, sport fishing boats rush to these shelves because the depths, as well as the resultant change in water temperature, are favorable to catching the species they are fishing for. Of course, even deeper shelves will yield a larger variety depending on how far from shore the fishermen want to go.

Be kind to you friends & family: Do not give away the ending!
