Hank Sandusky raged as he read the summons threatening a fine of $800 if he didn't mow his unruly lawn by Saturday! And who was this infuriating Ms. Bedford who'd informed on him? Hank's fury abated when he met his pretty neighbor, his voice turning to husky seduction as he tried to win the lovely Cara Bedford over.

Cara had to admit that Hank's irrepressible humor set her heart to pounding with delight, but still she spurned his invitations. How could she care for a man who wouldn't wage war against weeds and crabgrass... but without his help, how could she win the town's beautiful garden contest?
