About This Book

This story, which is based on a wonderful real place. Being a creative writer i.e. having a 'proper job', sometimes involves the telling of fibs, which can be sticky when writing factual stuff. That beggars the question 'can creative writers be trusted to write history'? Or, as in this case, sod history, what happens in an actual care home? Everyone wants to know because they like scandal (oh yes YOU do)But, 'my' values don't allow me to lie, so I have considered, for stories such as this, adopting the politician's tool of telling un-truths, which at least makes my lying politically correct (and the populus always follows them like sheep). But un-truths are still impossibly dificult for me so I had to modify the method, or simply not write information 'write ups' like this. but I have to write them. My version of un -truths is therefore called un-lies. This little offering is therefore full of un-lies, because it is all true; except where it isn't. Call it 'based on the truth' (I now have a headache, which is still better than the pain of lying). This story is therefore based on Town Thorns, but written creatively in the style of one of those caricature artists, but using words instead of 'pencil shapes' (hard facts would be boring, so in the name of 'feel good' entertainment, I've jazzed them up a bit). Enjoy. Town Thorns is a very beautiful place, breathtakingly. It is owned by the automotive charity BEN and serves those who were employed in the automotive industry. Once again, enjoy.
