When happy-go-lucky Dorabella Denver marries Dermot Tregarland, a charismatic young Cornishman, her twin sister, Violetta, is haunted by premonitions of disaster. Her worries soon multiply, as rumors of blood feuds and mysterious deaths are linked to her sister's new family.
