The Good Ol' Days

Many of us in hindsight look into the past and think how much better we had it back in the Good Old Days! The problem is that we have a selective memory on what those days consisted of then. In this book the main character revisits his home town after many years and he is flooded with the memories of his former days. Some of these echos of the past were good, but there were many painful thoughts that emerged from the forest of his mind. The mental pictures that made their appearance were filled with emotions of thrilling adventure, like his nights on the football field. Images of passionate love bringing a smile to his aged face. Then the perception of unimaginable despair that gripped his heart like a constrictor taking his breath away! Each street and building ignites the senses of the older man's heart. Through the book the aged gentleman goes back through his life and the reader watches as he grows from a boy to a man right before their eyes. The story continues to pull the reader into the life of this young man and climaxes with the biggest day of his young life which changes everything.
