Out of the horrific practice that was the Transatlantic Slave Trade, rose a secret society shrouded in mystery, fantastical lore, legend, and rumor. This organization has had many names, including its early dubbing as "The Owls," but it is most commonly known as CANA. While it began in Virginia, CANA eventually spread to countries all over the world. Now, 190 years later, the organization has not only survived as a secret society, it has thrived as one. Over the years, times have changed and so has CANA, splitting into four branches. Manican, a high-ranking member called The Gyasi, sees the perfect opportunity to rise to power and ensure his legacy by once again bringing together all four branches to form one whole. Author Crist L. Thompson currently lives in Virginia, where he enjoys observing people and gathering information of all sorts. He spent a great deal of time questioning people of all genders, ages, religions, and nationalities about what they would enjoy reading.
