The Gold Bar

On a dark night in 1945, off the coast of Mexico, a German submarine unloads five cases of gold bars. September 1988, forty three years later, an unidentified man is shot in the San Andres Mountains of New Mexico. In his back pack is found a gold bar with a Swastika stamped on the side. Billy Ray, a young Apache Indian Reservation Policeman is asked to investigate. He asks his high school girlfriend which has moved away to college to come home and help him solve the mystery. Being an amateur treasure hunter she jumps at the opportunity to maybe rekindle her romance with Billy Ray and find the lost German gold that has puzzled the New Mexico residents for almost fifty years
