About This Book

When a monstrous alien ship appears in Earth orbit, Brad Fallon is drawn into a cat-and-mouse game with a trio of human-like aliens who represent the ship. Strangely, Fallon, an ex-fighter pilot, and three other relatively unknown individuals are selected by the ship to act as intermediaries between the ship and the world governments. Dilithia, the beautiful female leader of the trio, is very persuasive and soon convinces the world governments to accept the ship’s plan to transport qualified individuals to an Earth-like planet and establish a human colony there. The aliens seal the deal by offering payment for goods and services with gold and diamonds. Brad and the other representatives are convinced that the settlement plan is genuine and lend their full support. As time passes, a religious cult becomes convinced that the ship is a deity and that they will be raised to heaven when it leaves. The cult coins the name The God Ship, and the name catches on. For reasons only know to them, the aliens seem to like the name and do not refute the Rapture idea. This and other odd moves by the aliens makes Brad suspect that they are not telling the whole story. However, Brad’s suspicions and his emotions become more and more entangled as his infatuation with the beautiful Dilithia grows stronger.
