The God-Seeker

David West is a brilliant young theoretical physicist who has stumbled across a statement in Fermat's last journal that Fermat could mathematically prove that there is no God. However, Fermat does not present such a proof in any of his writings. David has been given a two-year appointment to the Institute for Advanced Knowledge, with no requirements as to what he may pursue. He therefore decides to seek the mathematical solution that Fermat alluded to. It isn't long before he learns that the task he has set himself is far more dangerous than he had ever imagined. There are people who want to be sure he will not succeed.
