The Girl on the Shore

A ghostly message from 1835 and dreams of the Sloane sisters of Buffalo, New York in 1880 send modern day novelist Maude Travers across the wild Atlantic to a small island off the west coast of Ireland for answers. What do the Spiritualists of Lily Dale, New York, a child accused of witchcraft and the ancient Celtic legends of the Fairy Folk have to do with the mysteries hidden there? As Maude hones her ability to connect with the past, she sees that a chance encounter with a girlhood rival awakens long forgotten secrets. Old superstitions begin to take root and place the Sloane family in danger. How will the resolution of this latest supernatural quest impact a relationship in trouble in the present, another just beginning in the past and a third that was never meant to be?
