Scout is the boy living with an elephant in his backyard. Not only is Ellie a hoot to be around, she has an elephant-sized temper. In this wild episode, Scout is helping the giraffe next door to date his big friend. Could anything be more dangerous than two beasts in love? Yes. Scout is being corralled into a circus act with them. He is almost hopeful to live through this one. The Scout and Ellie chapter book series is meant for kids ages 7 to 9.
