The Gift

What if suddenly you could tell, just by looking at a person, if they were sick or healthy? What if you could tell that they were about to die? Would you consider this new found ability a curse or a gift? Michelle Wakefield spent over half of her young life in hospitals, due to a genetic disease and a negligent mother. After nineteen brain surgeries, she was released from the hospital with a clean bill of health on her eighteenth birthday. But something strange happened after her last surgery.
