The Ghosts of Britannia

The land known as the United Kingdom lies in desolation, riven by the newly released and constantly mutating ‘Covid-69.’It is revenge by China over their thwarted invasion of Australia, stopped by the use of British-supplied nuclear weapons.As always, the Continentals just stand back and observe the death throes of their unpopular neighbour just across the English Channel, now renamed 'Le Manche' by the French. The new and weak American Government, ravaged by Chinese sponsored corruption, likewise looks the other way.Not for the first time the British have their backs to the wall!The country once known as 'The British Isles' begins to die with the eradication of most of the population but there are a few brave souls left who would fight to the end and become the Ghosts of Britannia!
