The Gemini Planets

One planet faces imminent demise, having crossed the point of no return in terms of ecological damage. The second planet is in its infancy, sparsely populated by an unknown species, and offers an option to begin again. Faced with a critical choice, the ruling council must decide whether to take drastic measures to mitigate further harm and adapt to their circumstances. Or throw their support behind a perilous journey across the stars to establish a new colony in preparation for mass migration. Both options come with significant risks, as the fate of their society and culture hangs in the balance.
