In bed with the Mob and married to the casino, Wolf has given up the idea of happiness. Being a member on the Council has its drawbacks, like participating in a war Wolf has grown tired of fighting, especially when the next hit lands one of his crew members in hot water.Wolf finds a welcome distraction in one of his customers—a card shark like him—and beyond her pretty face, something deeper starts to brew between them.
