The Future Tense

A glance to the past. A perilous present. A calamitous future. In this, the third book of the "Future" series, we find that the effects of John Davis' previous time travels are still having ripple effects on him. Although he is no longer able to step through time, he is now seeing small glimpses of the past in his mind. He sees people he has never met and places he has never been. The problem with being able to see, with clarity, what people have done in the past is that it makes those same people quite determined to make sure that the seer has no future. The main images John sees pertain to a series of deadly bomb blasts inside the United States. Everyone expects more explosions to follow, but there are no leads or theories that make sense. APPUS is determined to find a clue that they can follow, and the short glimpses of what John Davis sees in his mind are the only puzzle pieces that they have to work with. They'll need to determine what it all means, but time is running out. With the nation on the brink of chaos and with time dwindling, Malcolm, Mary, and Tori will have to make their best guess and run with it... and then hope that it was the right one
