About This Book

My story will illuminate the everlasting effects that narcissistic and chauvinistic men and women can have on the innocent. Their jarring and degrading words can forever be imprinted on fragile minds. It shows the aftermath of shaming the naïve and the effects of taking advantage of the weakened. The author explains the vulnerability of her characters, and those who prey on them, knowing full well the abused will succumb to the needs of their abusers because they cannot make healthy decisions. For they are willing to do anything just to be loved even if it's just for a little while. Readers grow deeply attached to Bridgette as she confides in them about the sexual abuses, afraid to share the details for fear of judgment, of misjudgment. As details emerge, Bridgette learns how such abuse may impair and obscure anyone's way of thinking. The educated, poor, rich, no matter the ethnicity. Reactions to abuse have no prejudice regarding who they affect.
