In trying to hit upon a way to exonerate Theo, Walter suggests that Margaret herself might have left them a clue—in the manuscript for her travel memoir. Reading at breakneck speed, he and Marian realize that the first Mrs. Camlet was even more of a force to be reckoned with than they thought. And while she may not reveal her killer by name, her story gives them a pretty good idea of who might want her dead.
