Supposedly disbanded over forty years ago, their identities are shrouded in secrecy, their exploits known only to a few. They are the elite, the daring loners of the sea. They are the men of the Special Boat Squadron.
Plucked from the midst of the Falklands conflict, SBS Team Alpha is ordered into an area dominated by the combined fleet of the Warsaw pact. Their mission: to retrieve parts of a Soviet experimental satellite, the Fireball, before its masters can mount a recovery operation. But the Fireball won't be given up without a fight. And Russia's deadly paratroops, the Red Eagles, are already en route to the splashdown zone.
