The Family Camping Trip

The Adventures of Junior and Spike the Wonder Dog. Book Six: Family Camping Trip. This is the sixth book in a series of 31 children's books written and illustrated by Moshe. Book Six's first two pictures display Junior dressed in hiking garb and Spike has a canteen around his neck, which relates to the bedtime story Dad reads Junior and Spike, about a boy and his dog that get lost hiking in the mountains, because they did not listen to the boy's father. The adventure begins with Spike waking Junior, before they find Dead working in the garage. They drive Big Grape, the trike, to the Beefy Bull Restaurant for breakfast, before driving into the mountains. They set up camp in a nice grassy area, first making their tent then roasting hotdogs over a campfire. That night a bear wanders into camp and Spike chases him into the woods. In the morning, the family goes for a hike. A mountain lion rushes out of the woods towards Junior. Spike immediately chases the mountain lion back into the woods.
