About This Book

In the jungle a secret can lie undisturbed for decades...

In 1942 a plane carrying three male and two female Americans disappeared into the jungles of British Guiana. The plane was en route to make a sightseeing tour of the famous Kaieteur waterfall.

Seventy years later, Shirley Richards, the great grand-daughter of one the crew, who has always been obsessed with the death of her grandpa, decides to investigate what happened to the plane during World War II. And the further she investigates, the more certain she becomes that he survive the accident in the Guyanese jungle.

Tom O'Ryan isn't so certain in fact, he thinks Shirley's crazy but he is obsessed with Guyana (as it now is), where he spent the first ten years of his life, and, if he's honest with himself, his life is going nowhere in England. He thinks agreeing to accompany the very attractive Shirley on her expedition to the South American rainforest will prove an interesting distraction at best and a wild-goose chase at worst. That is, until the threats begin.

When local inhabitants are found dead in bizarre circumstances, and Shirley and Tom discover a cave behind the Kaieteur Falls, the gruesome discoveries really begin. They put two and two together and come up with a lot more than four...
