The Eyes of God

Imagine having at your disposal the means to dip your head beneath the surface of time much as a diver does in an aquatic world. Imagine seeing past events as if they were just happening. This is the premise behind The Eyes of God. Tom Higgins is thrust into the murder investigation of his lifelong friend and inventor Seth Rausch. Through the use of Rausch's new invention, Higgins uncovers the truth of the crime and some unpleasant truths about himself. The Eyes of God is a story about the perception of truth, corruption, power and the influence of these forces on a person's character. It is about the human inability to handle omniscience without the accompanying wisdom of God. This is a modern version of the story of the Garden of Eden and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
