About This Book

Lisa bounced in her saddle as Sparkling Eyes pranced over the lawn. She looked foxy in her red tank top and jeans. She was going to be a senior at Punahou. Lisa liked Ben and me because we always had a horse saddled for her. She looked nothing like her twin Laverne. Laverne was a tomboy with her father 's features. Lisa reminded me of Mia Farrow on Peyton Place. She could ride either Western or English style. Her versatility impressed me. The girls trotted Sparkling Eyes and Jetty around the coconut grotto and raced through the ironwoods. I ran across the lawn and joined Ben in the grotto.
