The Enchanted Highway

A lot of forgiving and forgetting for Liz, when Rufus, whom she'd always known and planned to marry, suddenly elopes with another girl, Miriam. It is Liz who eases the social boycott which Rufus and Miriam face, but it takes another man to show up her misguided nobility and naivate, and to bring about her emotional emancipation.
