The Jarash came to the Milky Way bent not on greeting humans but to destroy them. A fanatical species, the Jarash had no idea of the determination of humans to survive.Moira is considered one of humanity's elites. Her father and uncle have led the battle against the Jarash since it began. Her mother abhors violence of any kind and demands that her daughter forget about becoming a pilot and instead that Moira should study medicine to become a doctor.Moira knows she faces a difficult challenge to be accepted in a typically male environment. She doesn't care. Far too many people she knows and cares about have been lost to the Jarash. Her journey isn't without difficulties but she never once gives up on her dream to help protect the Milky Way.
