When a seemingly innocent food blogger is murdered in the quiet Mexican beach town of Zihuatanejo, John Standard's girlfriend asks him to find out what happened. Standard, wanting only to be left alone to enjoy the sun, food, and tequila of his new home, reluctantly agrees. His search leads him to the beautiful and dangerous daughter of a notorious drug lord, and an unlikely alliance with a Shakespeare-quoting DEA agent.
