The Dragon Garden

The strangest creatures live in a place called the Downhills; under the red sun and the blue moon. Wolpertingers, monsters and dragons also live there. Some of them have scales and fins, while others are so heavy that no one is able to guess their weight. Huge, thick-skinned animals, like Uncle Balloon the mammoth, can be seen flying lazily in the air. Only wolpertingers go to the world of humans and giants, through a tunnel under the roots of an oak tree-although it is true that one time, Spark the daredragon went along with little Alex, the boy from the Alps, to the land of King Clover in Bavaria. Once there, he swelled up and became as big as a house! And now King Clover and his sons are at their at their wit's end. An enormous army is coming up towards Cloverland! Francis Fray the First is determined to conquer the entire kingdom. This is a disaster!
