The Disappearing Dog Trick

Kerby and Fenton have been planning a terrific, secret night in their clubhouse—complete with sleeping bags, a delicious weenie roast, and Waldo the dog. But no sooner does the evening begin than things take a turn for the berserk! Waldo disappears without his collar, and the town dogcatcher is working overtime. The boys have no idea where to look for Waldo. There's only one, very dim, awfully strange hope...

Enter Mrs. Graymalkin and her mysterious chemistry set! Now, armed with a special magic beaker, the boys search frantically through the streets of town, outwitting bullies and sneaking by police. Still, it seems hopeless. Poor Waldo is out there somewhere, and if they don't find him soon, his days are numbered.

It's going to be a long night!
