About This Book

The Dinosaur's Tooth, the third novel in the SPILLOVER series, is a work of fiction set against a background of actual places and events of the times. All characters are drawn from the author's imagination. The action takes place during the decades prior to and following the viral pandemic of 2020. Compounding the situation is the fact that the singularity, the age of the machine, arrives while viruses still rage across the planet. Told from the viewpoints of three central characters, Ben, Rebecca and Drew Eastlake, the plot follows the life of an intrepid young pioneer of a new age, the age of the virus. 'We thought we knew how to survive, that we were prepared, but nothing could have prepared us for what was to come. We exist in a time where living with deadly viruses is a way of life. But how does one define 'life' in a world where little hope for the future of mankind remains? Yet hope survives, for it is within the human spirit to endure, to fight to the bitter end if necessary, and to find a way forward.'
