Meet Gil Sivart. Just another "concerned citizen" on Living Level 3 aboard the Robert E. Lee. By profession, Gil's an artist--if you think building tiny models of disaster ships is an art. On the side, he digs up all the data that's unfit to print out. A private eye, of sorts. Upgraded, of course. And now he's helping a young lady whose boyfriend put his head in a stamping press. The Corporation calls it suicide. His lady friend calls. it murder. Gil? He figures this rotating garbage can is rotten to the core. Now all he has to do is flush it out, level by level--from the pits of LL5 to the glitz of LL1--before his discreet inquiries get him permanently spaced (without a suit).
