She only wants to get away from the overlords, even if it is only one world away. But, in absconding, Ydit finds herself in an inescapable series of violent and tragic turns all centered on a rebellion she never wants any part of. Ydit knows what the overlords do is wrong and despises them for it, but it is soon a close race between who she reviles more: the oppressor or one of its most noteworthy rebels. Fragnerhe is a serial killer and ruthless warrior, destined to see her homeworld fall to her enemy and take up the fight elsewhere. Along the way, these two share a fate of death, pain, and desperate flight even as one tries to abandon the struggle while the other adamantly refuses to relinquish it.
