The Devil's Playground

As medical officer for the Santa Fe Railroad, Conroy was well accustomed to the West's wild and colorful ways but he never figured that he'd ever be the object of a murder attempt. A young girl's accident triggered an unlikely turn of events that placed him in the hands of the notorious Haskell gang deep in the Mojave Desert - with a price on his head and involvement in a kidnap. He had saved many lives in his time, but now in the Devil's Playground of a desert, it looked like he had met his match.
