The Device

When the brilliant Cal Tech research physicist Dr. Alexander Mikhail Volkov initially activates the device he’s perfected late in the year 2018, his planned academic journey to explore the Beginning of Time is interrupted by a sequence of events that will change his life forever. He is determined to relentlessly pursue Ultimate Truth, and the Device is a machine that will enable him to go back in time to investigate, learn, and explore. When Volkov’s initial successes in bending time are documented, first in the Los Angeles Times and subsequently in an article on MSN, immensely powerful people soon become interested in the potential of this invention. Dr. George Anderson, Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and a former Navy Seal, is assigned the task of protecting Dr. Volkov as powerful forces gather and repeatedly clash. Ultimately, there is only one place left on earth for Alexander Volkov to continue his research in safety and in peace.
