The Dead Cannot Talk

Following the death of her beloved father, China Doss and her mother move from the hectic city life of California into the home of China's Aunt, nestled safely within the serene mountain of Utah. Shortly after their arrival, China begins to hear the frightening whispers that seek her out each time she is alone. When her grief stricken mother seems uninterested in her tales, China turns to the aunt that will teach her the magic words to silence them. Upon the death of her aunt, China will return from college to the huge empty house, and the terrifying voices she had left behind. When she tries to ignore them, the voices turn into horrifying visions of unbelievable pain and torture. No longer able to cope with the hauntings, China begins an investigation that will reveal the secrets of her past and force her into the realization that she will need more than "magic words" to stop them
