The Dark Side of Paradise

Jessica Holland is having trouble relaxing on her well-deserved vacation in Hawaii. The last thing she needs after grueling CPA exams and jury duty for a gangland trial is to be shoved by a fellow tourist practically under the wheels of an oncoming car! Luckily, a tall, blond stranger is on hand to come to her rescue, and suddenly Jessica has more than frenzied sight-seeing to keep her busy.

Her fair-haired knight, Clint Wheeler, however, is not the only man in her life. Her mother and new stepfather, on their own honeymoon, take it upon themselves to spread their joy by fixing her up with the great-looking but ingratiating smooth (and annoyingly ever present) Derrick Barlow, a wealthy guest at their hotel. But avoiding Derrick to have more time to spend with Clint is not her only preoccupation. Everywhere she goes, she senses she's being watched, and one mysterious mishap after another proves to Clint and Jessica that danger is a not-so-cleverly hidden element of this tropical paradise. All vacation are too short, but this one may come to an unexpected--and deadly--termination!
